You Can't Fire Me . . .

Another Stella digi! This one for when another unending day of dishes and laundry are piling up! Might be time to go through the drive thru.

Glossy accents are perfect for Stella's eyeglasses. Just a little sparkle.

I thought this cute postage stamp paper was perfect for the background. Have a great day friends! ~Rhonda

Grand Slam

What little boy or even a big boy doesn't enjoy a game of baseball?  This was so simple to put together. You could easily change the colors to your team favorite using the Rainbow Stripes die. You can see the star from the impression plate better in the top photo.

What's your favorite snack to eat at a baseball game? I like peanuts! ~Rhonda

Hi

The paper dictated this card design. I loved the colorful hearts and blocks of text. The headline text decided the color palette as well. I would probably read more papers if there were all this colorful.

The blocks of text were easy places for die words and big hearts.

The heart border die in a stripe continues the emphasis on the colorful hearts.

A perfect card to send for any occasion! ~Rhonda

Project Life - Week 28

Both sides of week 28

Another week is ready to share. My Mom gave me a big box of my baby clothes. She made most of my clothes and they are mini works of art. One of my favorites is the big pink dress that even had a hoop skirt that goes underneath!! and the teal blue wool coat with matching hat!!! So pretty.

Another big event was the wedding of Joe & Sarah. Lots of family and friends gathered to celebrate this wonderful life event.

Hope your week is going well. I'm working on several different projects that involve paint! ~Rhonda

I have Issues!

I am in LOVE with these Bugaboo Stella images. This card is going to a friend that has a lot going on! She always enjoys a good chuckle so hopefully this will bring a smile. The inside sentiment is "Thinking of You."

I put some of the colorless blender solution on some cheesecloth to get some texture on my chair. It did take a little time for it to show up so be patient if you try it. ~Rhonda

Go Confidently in the direction of your Dreams

I am working on a stash of cards that I think would be fun to send to my High School kids that I work with. Great sentiments and CAS.

To make it even easier I ran my arrows through my Xryon Machine so they were peel and stick. ~Rhonda

HB to YOU

I'm playing along with the Big Birthday Bash that is happening at the 10 Minute Craft Dash. Paulina (Pretty Pink Posh) is celebrating ONE year!

Coordinating papers from paper packs sure make it easier to get a card completed in 10 minutes or less. My time was a little over 8 minutes. The first card uses paper from The Little Yellow Tricycle Poppy pack and Basic Grey Wander pad.

I had so much fun making one card that I made another using paper from My Mind's Eye Mabel paper pad using the same Mojo Monday #305 sketch.

I hope you are planning a great weekend! It's tax free weekend in Texas so I think I will stay away from the stores and the hoards of back to school shoppers! ~Rhonda

Project Life Week 27

LIVELOVE(D) The theme of the 2013 National LCMS (Lutheran Church) Youth Gathering. We gathered with 32,000+ youth and adults from around the world in San Antonio, Texas during the first week of July. We started early and ended lasted late each day.

Both sides of week 27

One of the highlights for me was meeting the Lutheran Comfort Dogs. I "met" Adeena. These beautiful dogs have provided comfort at Sandy Hook Elementary and the Boston Marathon and even West, Tx after the fertilizer plant explosion. You can read more about them here.

Backpack anyone?? Everyone received a blue backpack. That's a lot of blue walking the streets of San  Antonio.

Left side of week 27

Elvis was in THE HOUSE! Wherever we went Elvis was the leader. A huge cut-out on a long pole with blinking red lights is a life saver in keeping your group together. You don't want to walk to the wrong hotel.

We celebrated the 4th of July by watching the fireworks at The Alamodome with a few of our closest friends (wink).

Everyone had a blast! We are already looking forward to New Orleans in 3 years! ~Rhonda

Stitch . . .

I put this card together pretty quickly using a couple of sets I hadn't inked up before. While looking at the sentiments in Purls of Wisdom I imagined quilts drying on the line. I have also pulled out my Copic Markers again for simple coloring.

I have been seeing more cards where they have colored in the loops of the sentiment so followed suit for this card. Especially the "o" on the bottom part.

Have a great day and don't forget to count those blessings! ~Rhonda

Flying By!

I picked up a new paper pad from Simple Stories. It has this great cloud paper so I pulled out my plane stamps for a little fun.

I popped the cloud paper up using foam tape. I am using the foam tape a lot more as I like the lift but it is a little less than pop dots. I used grey washi tape as a border.

I put the sentiment on the inside of this card. Thanks for the fly by today friends! ~Rhonda
