Goodie Bag Winners

Hi Everyone,

Hope your week is starting out well. I actually had a meeting today planning for the Christmas jobs that I manage each year.  It is just too hot here to get excited about Christmas. I used the random number generator to "draw" the winners for the photo stands. I couldn't figure out how to show you so you will just have to trust me. Thanks for playing along.

June and Joyce if you would send me your addresses I will get these into the mail.

What a cute and useful party favor. I love that you made it, and you got your husband to help, too. Thanks for the chance to win an extra. You guys looked like you were having such fun.

Have a wonderful week! ~Rhonda

Thankful Thursday #30

Thankful Thursdays are my opportunity to "Up My Gratitude." The goal is to make at least one card a week to thank someone. I LOVE when you play along by linking up below.

Today's card is loosely based on Mojo Monday #251. It was a great jumping off point. The polka dot paper is scraps left from a Heidi Swapp/Jessica Sprague class that I took.

The frame is from the new PTI Fabulous Frames set impressed with the Mendi Medallion plate.

I haven't used any felt in a while. The orange zest felt and buttons are perfect for inside the frame. I pulled thank you's from Grunge, Fillable Frames, Framed Out, and Butterfly Dreams.

Don't you have someone you need to thank this week? Come play along. ~Rhonda

...Smiles Begin with YOU.

It's time for another Papertrey Ink Blog Hop. This month is a color inspiration photo. Lots of pretty pastels that I don't usually use. :) I had grand plans for a mini album but an unwanted visitor to my office/craft space changed my plans.  Does the phrase "There's a snake in my boot OFFICE!" conjure up any visions? Thankfully my son found him and convinced him to leave the house.

I started my card by creating pattern paper using the Natural Beauties stamp set in the colors of the inspiration photo. I LOVE the top flower all by its self.

The base is Harvest Gold card stock impressed with the Diamonds plate.

I used the Perfect Patches die to cut out my newly created pattern paper and tied it all up with a Summer Sunrise twill tape ribbon.

I created the display stand for PTI's Stamp-a-faire and have a couple of extras that I'm giving away on my previous post if you are interested.

Happy Hopping Everyone! ~Rhonda

Goodie Bag Reveal

Did you have a blast participating in PTI's Stamp-a-faire? I made goodie bags to share with the ladies I was joining. I thought it would be fun to create something to display our creations on.

I wrapped a 2" wooden block with jute and then put green moss on top. I was keeping to the "summer camp" theme.

Each block has 3 wires for cards. My husband Bob happily shaped the wires for me.

I finished them with a tiny tag stamped in Spring Moss and attached with twine.

When I was making them I made a couple of extras that I would like to share. If you would like one, leave a comment and I will draw next Monday. Make sure I can contact you somehow.

Have a great week! ~Rhonda

Hello Sweet Friend

I love getting things in the mail. What about you? This Pure Innocence stamp Happy Mail from My Favorite Things is just the thing to send to a friend.

I made two similar cards. The first card used a small floral print. The sentiment is from PTI's Hello Sunshine and Heart-2-Heart #4.

For the second card, I stamped the sentiment then used an impression plate. Such a simple step that really gives a big impact. The added texture really stands out.

A little paper piecing and a RED heart! All DONE!

Thanks for stopping by Friends! ~Rhonda

Stamp-a-faire goodies

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to participate in this fun event. I'm headed to Kristen's house in the morning to meet with some other Texans. I made a little gift for each gal. Wanna see what's inside? :) you will have to wait till tomorrow.

I took the Stamp-a-faire graphic and layered it onto a "wood sign." I printed on adhesive labels to create my packaging.

I may be to excited to sleep tonight. ~Rhonda

How Strong we are . . .

Fabulous Friday Everyone! Are you excited for the weekend? I'm taking part in the Papertrey Ink Stamp-a-faire. I am meeting up with some other Texas gals for a FULL fledged stamping extravaganza.

But on to this card! This layout is based on the Mojo Monday #250 sketch.

I ordered some new stamps from My Favorite Things last week. I love this set called Vertical Greetings and die. I really like using big sentiment stamps. What about a little pink grunge in the corner? I used PTI Grunge Me for a little interest.

Love the shape of this flower die. It is a new one, Plentiful Petals, from MFT as well. I used the Sunshine impression plate from PTI. I am loving white paper and impression plates. OBSESSED!

Have a wonderful weekend! Get inky if you can. ~Rhonda

Thankful Thursday #29

Thankful Thursdays are my opportunity to "Up My Gratitude." The goal is to make at least one card a week to thank someone. I LOVE when you play along by linking up below.

This card is based on the Mojo Monday #250 sketch. I finally caved and purchased a typewriter set from My Favorite Things. I can't resist. :)

I cut a little slit at the top of my typewriter for the paper. So cute. This set has lots of great sentiments.

I used the top of a PTI tag to create a faux clip. I love the alphabet paper in the background.

THANK YOU! for stopping by. ~Rhonda

Praying God's richest blessings for You

It was been forever since I have used one of the Pure Innocence stamps. I was never very happy with my coloring but have since seen them used more as a "pencil" drawing. I love the look. This little girl is from My Favorite Things - My Balloon.

The sentiment is from PTI's Happily Ever After.  The small scale pattern paper is perfect for the background and paper pieced dress.

Hope you are having a great week!! ~Rhonda

Thankful Thursday #28

My thank you today was inspired by one of Nicole's release cards here (highlighting the Floral Foliage).  I had cut the leaves and flower out last week but couldn't get a card to come together. After seeing the inspiration piece I was reaching for my pattern paper pack and text impression plate.

I am a out of my comfort zone because all of my green don't "match" but I think that it actual gives it a little more personality.

I also rubbed some Chai ink over the impressed text to give a little more depth.

I hope you have wonderful plans for your weekend. We are headed to the lake for a High School Youth party. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to thank someone this week. ~Rhonda

I think this would be the appropriate week to thank the Men and  Women who serve our country. My stars on the first card were made by putting Washi tape on card stock then running it through my Big Shot. The stripes are from the Est. 1776 from PTI.

The sentiment was computer generated. The font is Adler which is one of my favorites and a free download here. It has a slight grunge feel.

The second card is clean and simple. The circle stripe is from Candy Cane Christmas. It is always a nice surprise when I discover another way to use a stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by! Send a thank you this week and link up. ~Rhonda

Hiya!! Is your summer moving as fast as mine??? I was playing with the new PTI Sunshine Impression Plate. Slapped a little ink on it!  The sun's center is from Trendy Tree Tops. Perfect fit.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful Fourth of July. Many places around us had fireworks on Sunday which happened to be Canada Day as well. We celebrated with friends that have duel citizenship so we combined the celebrations. Beautiful day! ~Rhonda
