I hope you know . . .

Another project from my Mouse, Paper, Scissors Class. This album is seriously CUTE!! The theme is "I hope you know YOU are FABulous!

It started by making clear plastic covers and then lots of different pages. Don't you LOVE the polka dot book spine? I love the addition of crepe paper. I need to incorporate that element into some cards.

A coin envelope, a blue envelope, a vellum envelope, polka dot pages, lots of "pockets" for things to hide in.

I made other elements that I punched out with my 1 3/4" circle punch and used my tiny attacher.

I NEED more of the envelopes with the string.

I can't wait to try this in other color combos. Thanks for stopping by friends! ~Rhonda

"Family" subway art

They are designed to fit a square frame.

I have now make several more. They make a great gift. What do you think? Do you want one??? Take care friends!! ~Rhonda

PTI BLOG HOP - Hi!

Hi Everyone! Can you believe it's time for another PTI hop? The challenge is to use embroidery floss on your project. Thankfully my new release goodies arrived in time to use as well.

I decided to use label basics to create a background paper that I could use for cards and belly band for a PTI plastic box.

The tiny tag set is so CUTE!!!! The perfect embellishment for the box and cards.

I punched holes in the side of the plastic box with my Big Bite punch so the floss wouldn't slide too much. The polka dot frames are ADORABLE!

Happy Hopping Everyone!! ~Rhonda

supplies:
stamps: PTI - Label Basics, Tiny Tags, Flower Fusion #1
paper: PTI - Stampers Select White, Hawaiian Shores
ink: SU - Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay
other:  PTI - tiny tags die; floss - stash,

Wishing YOU ...

a Happy Birthday!!!

I LOVE the banner stamps but have never really put together a card that I love. The balance seemed OFF until today. I kept thinking that there were only the bigger shapes in PTI's set until I say this inspiration from Mona here. My ah ha moment!!! The flags!!!!!

It would be so easy to change the colors to make this more manly!! I think I have a new go-to birthday design.

I also put the sentiment on the banner die with makes this card perfect for the Whimsie Doodle Wednesday Challenge.

Hope everyone is doing well!! I'm running around with my head cut off!! heading to my Zumba class next. It's FUN!! ~Rhonda

stamps: PTI Banner Builder, Mat Stack 1 Collection

10 Happy Little Things

I created another project from the Mouse, Paper, Scissors class at Jessica Spague's site. The goal was to make a hybrid album that shows 10 things that make us happy. It was fun and I LEARNED A LOT!

Do you see the tissue paper? Did you know you can run it through your printer and have patterned tissue paper?  It is FABULOUS!

I chose to make mine using digital layouts and then add additional paper elements.

I used several word art elements to highlight some pages. I LOVE Winnie the Pooh quotes.

I printed my pages at Staples. The paper has a nice sheen.

I've always been a little nervous about making mini books but now I see more in my future!! ~Rhonda

Birthday Banner

I had the best time creating this banner with my friend Robin. It is for her granddaughter's second birthday. You might remember that I made a small banner for Chloe here at Christmas.

We had stuff everywhere. It started with a Happy Birthday pre-made banner from Hobby Lobby that was on clearance. I wish I had bought everyone they had. The letters are heavy chipboard and were a steal at $2.99.

We used a glitter paper pack and then went to town adding trims, buttons, and flowers, and anything else we could find.

One of my favorite letters is this "I" with the clear dragon flies and the felt fringe.

Love the raspberry fizz buttons on the "D" too.

I found this rick rack at a little shop which sells trim and buttons CHEAP!!! Like .03 a yard.

The best part was having everything OUT on the big dining room table with plenty of room to play and play and play!! This project just made me HAPPY!

Hope you are having a great week!! ~Rhonda

Too many supplies to name!!!

Inspiration Journal

I'm currently taking the Mouse, Paper, Scissors class at Jessica Sprague's site that is a hybrid digital class with Jessica and Heidi Swapp. We received a package of goodies in the mail for the 4 projects that we will complete. The 1st is an inspiration journal that is sooo cute! The easel came in the package too.

I love the way the design is a wrap front. We also had a definition piece to place on the top of the notebook to cover the notebook specifics. See the striped pink piece below.

Can you see the tabs that help keep the journal closed? The 1st tab is the blue ribbon element (above) that we cut the size of a quarter. The 2nd tab is the circle element shown below.

Make it a great day everyone!! ~Rhonda

supplies used:
paper: Daily Junque by House of 3 for Pink Paislee (being released in a few weeks)
