Happily ever after!

What an easy wedding card!! The middle Dahlia is popped up. A little hard to see in this picture. The background basics: Text style II works great for the flower background.

Beautiful Blooms II - Trio

I had made these cards last weekend before being called to the bedside of my mother-in-law. Con died Tuesday, March 23rd with family beside her. She always encouraged whatever hobby I was pursuing. I know that now she is just looking and encouraging from a heavenly view.

The fillable frames stamps and dies are quickly becoming go-to products. They are so versatile.

The dies make the flowers so easy to use. Absolutely love them.

Bitty Blessing

My jumping off point for this card was Mercy's challenge here. I had avoided the carriage image because I knew it needed to be colored. It now provided the perfect opportunity to practice blending copic markers. I used R85, R83,  and R81.

The pearls on the wheels, carriage top, and handle are made by using the Viva Ice White Pearl Pen. I really enjoy using it.

I'm watching the NCAA Basketball tourney as I craft. Usually during this time I work on quilts but this year I'm sticking with cards.

Enjoy the day! ~Rhonda

Spring

Just wanted to share some spring pictures! We had an absolutely gorgeous weekend. Bob gave the yard its first haircut of the season. Everything looks so much better. Ryker and I finished cutting down dead foliage in the flower beds. It felt great to be outside.

My plum tree is blooming!

Gotta love the purple flowers (weeds)!

My first daffodils!

Hope you are enjoying warmer weather wherever you are. ~ Rhonda

You're so sweet!

I received some new Magnolia stamps last week so I inked up Jam Tilda #384 to particpate in the Just Magnolia challenge. I love how the background paper looks like a garden behind Tilda.

I'm taking some online Copic classes with Suzanne Dean at her Color Me Creative classroom. I can't wait to get in more practice and pick up some great tips.

Learn from Yesterday

I feel like I've been MIA. My new computer arrived and I'm struggling with getting everything setup. I find that being forced to learn new software etc. is great motivation. Especially cause I need to upload pictures of projects.

The sentiment of this card probably expresses the process quite well. "Hope for tomorrow" is especially appropriate. I love Fresh Snow on Ocean Tide card stock.

The image is a circle but I think I didn't hold the shift key when cropping and it stretched the image. More to learn.

Have a geat day. I hope you learn something new today! ~Rhonda

Hope you have Fabulous Day

How about a little inspiration from a Pier I ad? Looking through the ad I spied this cute table runner. Loved the colors and the polka dots.

I think it translated into a great card. The adjectives from Take Ten allow you to personalize your circles.

I love the EK bubble border punch. I added a Razzberry Fizz paper strip to the inside, leaving just a touch of white showing on the bottom for added interest.

Hope your day is fabulous! ~ Rhonda

I wasn't to sure about this color combo but I have to say now I love it. It feels light and airy!

I used SU Only Orange to stamp my butterfly and then again with versamark. The clear embossing added a bright shine.

Lucky

Feeling Lucky? I love the bingo cards that Sharon Harnist has made. I loaded mine into PSE 7 and added a brush shamrock, lucky number 17, and the circle. A little hybrid work makes it easy to change colors and match any paper I'm working with.

After scanning my background paper, I could use my eye dropper to pick the colors I used on the bingo card. Dabbed some bermuda bay ink and it is ready to go.

Top of the day to YOU! ~ Rhonda

Happy Easter, Happy Spring

Easter Rabbits will be hopping soon! Lots of different things happening on this card. Do you love the pattern paper?

I made this by using free graph paper I found online. It is the perfect solution for PTI's Guidelines. You can find the graph paper at the link.

I used Spring Rain, Spring Moss, and Hibiscus Burst ink on several of the stamps in Guidelines to create this great pattern.

Scor lines added under the sentiment really balanced the card.

Hope you are getting inky! ~Rhonda

Stamps: PTI Guidelines, Egg Hunt

Online Copic Marker Classes

2nd post of the day - Scroll down to see my Blessings card. The Mr. & Mrs. card shows the Pearl Pen that I refer to in this post.

Hi Everyone! I'm still practicing with my Copic Markers. Suzanne Dean is my go to girl for online tutorials. She has just announced her new venture of an Online Classroom. The classes go live on March 15th. If you sign up before the 15th you get a small discount. I have signed up for the first class and I'm sure the second will be one I'd like to do as well.

If you decide to take a class, Suzanne is offering referral dollars. So give her my name -Rhonda Hampton- and sign up.

Suzanne's blog is the one that introduced me to the Pearl Pen. You can see a tutorial on that product here. On this same page is many other tutorials.

I'm so ready to learn more about Copic Markers! ~Rhonda

You are a Blessing to ME

Mr. and Mrs.

Here Comes the Bride!! This card is for Becky's Compose a Card Challenge. I finger pleated my ribbon and then sewed the silver cord down the middle. I used one of the stamps from PTI's Turning a New Leaf as the image to emboss. I think it turned out great.

Do you see the lovely pearls? I made these!!!! A new product from Viva called Pearl Pen made these little beauties possible. You can made them any size you want and there are several different colors to choose from. Once dry (which doesn't take to long) they are solid.

I included a pix with the pen beside the card to give you a reference on the size it is.

I purchased mine from Susana's Custom Art here. I think she is already out of stock. I ordered mine on Friday. It shipped the same day and arrived at my home on Monday.

INFO UPDATE: Kara asked if you could color them with Copic Markers!!! I made some pearls on wax paper and colored away. They are gorgeous.

Enjoy your day! ~Rhonda
