Babies Are Heaven Sent

I have an upcoming baby event that calls for a table arrangement. I picked up rectangle vases from IKEA and started playing around. The location dictated the color scheme of brown and teal. One of the challenged I faced was making sure I can slide the band on and off from the bottom so the florist can arrange the flowers without getting the band wet! I know I will use this idea again with other images.

Have a creative day! R

Challenge On!

I decided to play with Kazon’s sketch 33 at 2 Sketches 4 You. At the time of the decision, Mr Linky was at #103 and today I am #131 . Does the phrase Slow and Steady mean anything to anyone else? I had fun with the sketch and actually made two cards.

Things I’ve learned through the process:
· Taking a picture of a card is hard!
· I would like oval nestabilities
· Write down the names of the products you use b/4 you put them away
· Your blog NEVER looks like you think it will!!! Stuff keeps moving!

Have a creative day! Rhonda

What Comes Around Goes Around

I began scrapbooking in 1991 with the birth of my 1st son and stamping in 2001. I have done neither for several years as my interests were elsewhere for a season but love of paper always brings me back! The greatest changes I see on my return in 2009 are:

  • Blogs and blog candy
  • Nestabilities
  • Challenges
  • Clear stamps
  • Lots of embellishments
  • Tape guns
  • Sewing on cards
  • and the corner rounder is back in!

So I will start slow! Looking and learning as I go around again!

Have a creative day! Rhonda
